Steps to Remove a Navigation Link in WordPress

Step 1: Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard

  1. Open your web browser and go to your WordPress login page. This is usually found at yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.
  2. Enter your username and password to log in.

Step 2: Go to the Menu Section

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, look at the left-hand side menu.
  2. Find and click on Appearance.
  3. Under the Appearance menu, click on Menus.

Step 3: Select the Menu to Edit

  1. You’ll see a drop-down list on the Menus page labeled Select a menu to edit.
  2. Choose the menu you want to edit and click Select.

Step 4: Remove the Navigation Link

  1. You will see a list of all the links currently in your menu.
  2. Find the link you want to remove.
  3. Click on the small arrow next to the link to expand it.
  4. At the bottom of the expanded section, click on the Remove link.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

  1. After removing the link, scroll down to the bottom of the menu list.
  2. Click the blue Save Menu button.

Step 6: Check Your Site

  1. Visit your website to ensure the link has been removed.
  2. Refresh the page to see the updated menu.
